FC Barcelona’s season is ending very badly. In addition to the poor results in the Championship and the elimination in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and the Copa del Rey and the high-tension departure of Xavi Hernández, a new problem is jeopardizing the end of the Catalan season, so that Barça still has to validate its second place in the Championship – qualifying for the Spanish Super Cup – against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday (7 p.m.).

Indeed, A.S. reports that FC Barcelona striker Raphinha (27) allegedly insulted the brother and assistant of the Barcelona coach, Xavi Hernández, when he left the field in the 66th minute, during the victory against Valencia on April 29 (4-2). Frustrated at being replaced while the score was still 2-2, he then allegedly insulted Oscar Hernandez, brother of Xavi. Sources inside the Catalan club believe that relations between the Brazilian winger and the Spaniard’s brother remain “correct” and that the scene took place in the heat of the moment. All this, while the future of the ex-Rennais is still uncertain in Barcelona.
