It’s the end of an era for Liverpool at the forefront of their attack. Indeed, Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino left Anfield Road at the end of his contract after defending the colors of the Mersey club 362 times, for 111 goals and 79 assists. But in addition to the red jersey, the international auriverde also leaves behind his number 9, which he has worn since the 2016-17 season.

The LFC has also announced its successor to display the traditional number of the striker: in fact, the latter has been attributed to the Uruguayan striker Darwin Núñez, who arrived last summer from Benfica against 80 million euros. Last season, the former Águias scored 15 achievements and delivered 4 offerings last season in all competitions.
