Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was pleased at the end of the Clasico, which saw Los Blancos clinch the La Liga title with a 3-2 victory over FC Barcelona.
The victory was secured thanks to another late goal from Jude Bellingham and was followed by euphoric celebrations at the Santiago Bernabeu, but he had to answer questions about two of his players who appeared unhappy at the end of the match.
Vinicius was happy the moment Bellingham’s goal was scored, and he took the opportunity to mock Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez. The Brazilian was seen shouting at Ancelotti when he came off in the final 10 minutes, but the Italian coach explained he was unhappy at being taken off at a crucial moment in the match. “ He didn’t like the change, he wanted to continue. The effort from the attackers was enormous, considering what happened at the Etihad.”

Meanwhile, it was noticed, and this is not the first time, that young star Arda Guler did not participate in the celebrations from the sidelines. However, Ancelotti made him a promise that should boost his morale. “I don’t know, I haven’t seen it, I can’t comment. Now we will calmly evaluate everything. Guler will now have the minutes he wants,” Ancelotti told Diario AS.
Guler has only played 98 minutes since returning to fitness in January, causing immense frustration for the 19-year-old. With six games remaining in La Liga, Ancelotti should be able to give him plenty of playing time by rotating his team with a view to the Champions League – Los Blancos only need 7 points from these matches to secure the title. However, Guler’s presence next season is in question, with some within the club advising him to be loaned out in order to continue his development.
