The Euro (June 14-July 14) in Germany is fast approaching. The internal organization of each team is also being put in place, such as the bonuses to be awarded. According to The Team, the FFF has decided to pay around 470,000 euros to each Didier Deschamps player in the event of a final victory. The amount could change depending on the coach's list and the number of people called up for the competition. This amount is slightly lower than the prize money awarded during the World Cup in Qatar where a check for 490,000 euros awaited each player on the France team. For this summer, the distribution is as follows. UEFA distributes €331 million to the 24 nations. Each of them receives €9.25 million in participation. You then have to count on €1 million per victory in the group stage and €500,000 for a draw. Then comes the final phase with ever-increasing payments as each round passes (€1.5 million for 8th, €2.5 million for 1/4, €4 million for 1/2, 5 M€ for the finalists and 8 M€ for the winner). A team can therefore reach €28.25 million in bonuses in the event of victory in all matches.
Of this money paid by the European confederation, the FFF takes 30% for the players and staff of the French team, or €8.47 million in the event of a victory in Berlin on July 14. This sum should be divided into 26.5 (the 23 called up + the remaining 3.5 for the staff). In this scenario, the Blues would receive almost 320,000 euros each. To this must be added the bonuses linked to image rights linked to the various commercial operations of the French team, i.e. 21,200 euros per match and 148,400 euros in the event of a final. After this presentation, we arrive at a sum almost equal to 470,000 euros. The Blues know what remains to be done to hit the jackpot.
