Manchester United child prodigy Alejandro Garnacho reportedly dreams of joining Real Madrid and could meet club boss Florentino Perez.
Garnacho has impressed Manchester United since the start of the season, with his performances a rare bright spot in what has been a difficult campaign for the Red Devils. However, the Premier League club may have to fight to keep the young talent, as he is said to be dreaming of a future at Real Madrid and is even willing to meet with president Florentino Perez.
Garnacho doesn't want to move yet but his dream is to “play for Real Madrid” because 'He made it clear' he wanted to play for Los Blancos 'at some point in his career', according to TyC Sports. The feeling could be mutual as Perez is keen to meet Garnacho when Real Madrid travel to Manchester next month to face City in the Champions League quarter-final, according to Real Madrid Exclusivo.
A transfer to make?
Garnacho has been with Manchester United since the age of 16 and signed a new long-term contract with the club last year, which runs until 2028. He has shown his affection for the Red Devils after helping Manchester United to knock Liverpool out of the FA Cup on Sunday in a thrilling 4-3 victory with a post on Instagram. “I love this football club,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a series of celebratory photos.
Garnacho is currently with the Argentina squad after being called up for friendlies during the international break in the United States against El Salvador and Costa Rica.
