As summer approaches, FC Barcelona’s transfer plans for next summer are becoming an increasingly important topic of conversation.
The Blaugrana must do their best to try and keep up with Real Madrid, albeit on a significantly reduced budget.
One of the moves that the Catalans want to make is the permanent signing of Joao Cancelo, and according to Mundo Deportivo, they believe they can achieve it.
It’s in the bag ?
The player is apparently only interested in staying put, which helps Barcelona’s cause in negotiations. The Barcelonars want to pay a maximum of 20 million euros for the full-back, whose agent is Jorge Mendes. The Portuguese will soon meet with Man City’s sporting directors to try to establish terms that could make Cancelo’s loan move permanent.
The player and both clubs want this to happen, it’s just a question of finances. It may take some juggling, but it seems too convenient for all parties not to.
