As always, he was enthusiastic in his celebrations and got a little too carried away when Alexis Sanchez approached the penalty spot to shoot it.

Sanchez saw his penalty saved, as it turned out, with a save from Francesco Acerbi and a miss from Lautaro Martinez, decisive. After Sanchez’s missed penalty, the camera turns to the Atlético team on the sidelines.
Griezmann could be seen shouting “He’s a bag of shit, the Chilean is a bag of shit” after the miss. It might not be Griezmann’s classiest moment, but it can be forgiven given the tension, and there will certainly be no complaints from the Metropolitano, who adore him. Atlético will hope that they will be in full possession of their means when they face their opponents in the quarter-finals.
