Olympique de Marseille announced an important signing for its future this Wednesday.
While all the lights have been green on the sporting level since the arrival of Jean-Louis Gasset, Olympique de Marseille is securing the gems of its training center. The Marseille club announced this Wednesday that its young midfielder Bilal Nadir (20 years old) had signed a new contract.
OM perpetuates the tradition of its kids
By signing up for the long term with his training club, Bilal Nadir hopes to follow in the footsteps of certain glorious elders, like Boubakar Kamara or Samir Nasri, who had perpetuated the tradition of academy kids launched into the deep end.
“ I am relieved and very happy to be able to continue the adventure with Olympique de Marseille, enthused the Marseille hopeful. My contract was coming to an end and I found myself in a delicate position. It is a great mark of confidence that the Club has placed in me by extending my contract, I would like to thank the management. It is a great pride to continue my adventure at OM and this confidence given by the club makes me even more eager to come back stronger to help it in the future…”, concluded Bilal Nadir.
