Football legend Ronaldo Nazario admits it would be “crazy” to see Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé join Jude Bellingham at Real Madrid.
The Norwegian striker has taken the Premier League by storm since joining Manchester City in the summer of 2022, breaking countless records en route to a treble-winning campaign last season. Despite quickly becoming a City legend, Haaland has refused to rule out rumors of Madrid links, saying in a recent interview ” we never know “.
Brazilian legend Ronaldo hopes to see this transfer come to fruition, as he told the Daily Mail: ” Real Madrid’s policy is to have the best players in the world. Haaland is one of the best players in the world. Everyone wants to have Haaland. He is at an incredible club. City are doing an extraordinary job, I think he is very happy there at the moment. But we’ll see. I hope we can see all these players together in one club. »
Galactics 3.0?
“ It will remind me of the Galacticos if they (Haaland, Mbappé and Bellingham) all end up at Real Madrid. If that happens (they all sign for Real), it will be crazy. Watching Madrid play with all these players together. This will be an incredible team that will achieve remarkable things. But I think it will be a big challenge for Carlo Ancelotti to manage all these players. But it’s easier to put good players together than to put bad players together. It won’t be too big of a problem for the coach.”
While Haaland’s transfer still seems far away, one man seems to be heading towards the Spanish capital: Kylian Mbappé. The French striker is ready to end years of speculation by leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of his contract this summer, as he reportedly accepted a lower salary offer to force a move to Real.
Ronaldo was also very complimentary of Bellingham’s debut in Spain. With 20 goals and 9 assists in 31 appearances for Madrid this season, the Brazilian believes he can make a huge difference to England’s chances at Euro 2024. I have to say that England have been playing very well for five years. They were a bit unlucky at the World Cup in Qatar. I think the England team has a very good chance of making the Euros.”
