AC Milan player Rafael Leao has responded to transfer rumors regarding interest from Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
The Portugal international showed his loyalty to AC Milan amid reports he was set to leave the Serie A giants this summer.
Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are said to be interested in the player ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, but Leao has said he remains committed to the Rossoneri.
Leao stays in Milan
In an interview with Corriere della Sera, Leao said: “My future is in Milan. I’m here and I still have a four-year contract. Milan helped me when I was in a very difficult situation, they were close to me. I don’t forget, I’m loyal. I arrived as a boy, here I grew up as a man and as a footballer. I want to win again, my head is here.”
PSG have reportedly identified Leao as a possible replacement for their star striker Kylian Mbappé, who is set to leave the club at the end of the current season to join Real Madrid. Besides the Portuguese striker, Napoli star Victor Osimhen is also on the shortlist. Chelsea are also looking for the 24-year-old to strengthen their attack after another disappointing campaign.
