Daniele De Rossi, AS Roma coach, says his striker Romelu Lukaku is impeccable in his behavior.
Roma coach Daniele de Rossi says Romelu Lukaku has his full confidence.
The player on loan from Chelsea has struggled to perform since there was a change at the technical helm of the Giallorossi. However, this hardly seems to bother his coach.
De Rossi backs Lukaku
“Everyone is questioned, even Dybala. Me too. Sometimes you have to make choices. Choices arise from performance or health status. His condition is that of a star, he always runs and fights. It makes everyone happy, he’s a footballer that everyone would like to have. I don’t see any downcast faces, that’s their job. From this point of view, Romelu is the perfect player.”
The former international azzurro also believes that everyone is pulling in the same direction within La Louve. “ I do not perceive any destabilization around us. The owners provide us with the serenity we enjoy. We do not allow ourselves to be distracted by what is happening above and below us. I am not indifferent to what may happen, but the company is at my disposal 24 hours a day.
“Same thing for Dan and Ryan (Friedkin, editor’s note), I can’t complain about anything. I know there are a lot of changes because some roles are exposed, but I focus on the results. Other than that, it’s not my area and I have no say in it. For me the atmosphere seems positive, nothing is happening different from what happens in other clubs,” he concluded.
