While Alexis Sanchez has still not given an answer, OM have reached an agreement with the young Senegalese star Iliman Ndiaye and must now find an agreement with Sheffield United.
Pablo Longoria’s OM are on the verge of finding their new attacking star, while the return of Alexis Sanchez (free of any contract since July 1) seems a little more uncertain every day. Foot Mercato and the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano thus announce an agreement between the Olympian club and Iliman Ndiaye (23). A transfer has yet to be concluded between the two clubs.
The Senegalese international striker is considered the nugget of Sheffield United in the Championship (2nd and promoted to the Premier League). He has scored 15 goals and provided 12 assists in 52 appearances in all competitions for the Blades. Axial striker in his club, he also played right winger with the Teranga Lions, notably during the last 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Ndiaye has a rather atypical career. Born in Rouen in 2000, he went through the OM training center from 2010 to 2014 before returning to Senegal for two years, then settling in England with his family. He then evolved in the youth teams of a D5 club (Boreham Wood) then in a semi-professional training (Rising Ballers Kensington) where he was spotted by Sheffield.
