Chelsea management is preparing to get rid of several players from its first transfer window during the following transfer window.

Chelsea leaders plan to clean up this summer. Around ten elements could be exfiltrated at the end of the current campaign.

According to the Telegraph, Chelsea players who are on loan are for sale as a priority. Lewis Hall is expected to move permanently to Newcastle, while Romelu Lukaku, on loan at AS Roma, is also transfer free.

Furthermore, Ian Maatsen, who plays for Borussia Dortmund and who has started every match since his arrival in Germany, is likely to move. Chelsea management expects Maatsen to be brought in permanently.

Trevor Chalobah, Armando Broja, Conor Gallagher and Marc Cucurella have also been cited as potential starters for the Blues side.

With this strategy, the board hopes to recover money after having invested a lot in arrivals. Not having the expected sporting results, the club wants to at least stop the bleeding on a financial level.
