Premier League: West Ham takes the scalp of Brentford in a prolific match

After three defeats in a row in the league, West Ham had the obligation to relaunch this Monday at the end of the 26th day of the Premier League. Opposed to their neighbors Brentford, the Hammers quickly gained the upper hand thanks to two goals scored in quick succession by Jarrod Bowen (5th, 7th). The Bees’ response was quick and Neal Maupay reduced the gap in the 13th minute of play (2-1).

And after 50 minutes without a goal, this devil Bowen scored the hat-trick to allow the Londoners to regain a comfortable lead (3-1, 63rd). Emerson Palmieri then got the ball rolling to allow the Hammers to complete their success despite the late reduction of the gap by Yoane Wissa (4-2, 83rd). With this very important victory, West Ham climbed to eighth place. For their part, Brentford made a poor operation to maintain and are sixteenth.
