Alberth Elis’s vital and motor prognosis is still in jeopardy, as announced by the Girondins de Bordeaux.
While everyone is waiting for news about Alberth Elis, the Girondins de Bordeaux player seriously injured against Guingamp and placed in an artificial coma on Saturday, the club published a press release on Sunday.
Unfortunately, the striker is still in a coma and it is difficult to be optimistic, as the doctors in charge of his case explained to the Girondins.
Vital prognosis and engine still engaged
“At this moment, it is still impossible to comment on Alberth’s vital and functional prognosis. The club therefore expects not to be able to communicate new decisive information for a few days and will not make any further comments on Alberth’s state of health. We call for restraint regarding the dissemination of medical information, out of respect for him, his family and his loved ones, at a time when nothing else has any more importance.”
As indicated by the Gironde team, psychological support will be put in place now to allow the players, but also other employees of the club, to overcome this difficult moment, in the hope that Alberth Elis will wake up soon and without after-effects.
