The match started off brightly for the Colchoneros with the opening score of Ángel Correa (2nd). But against all expectations, Luka Romero, on loan from AC Milan, equalized for the locals (27th). Gaizka Garitano’s players believed in the feat but Rodrigo De Paul came to restore the advantage to Diego Simeone’s troops (57th). The match finally ended in a draw (2-2) after Romero’s double (64th).
