Napoli has a new coach

Walter Mazzarri is no longer the coach of Naples. His successor is already known.

Ninth in Serie A, far from its initial ambitions, Napoli, outgoing Italian champion, changed coach this Monday.

Walter Mazzarri, appointed to the Partenopei bench last November in place of Rudi Garcia, left the club today.

His replacement was inducted in the evening by President Aurelio De Laurentiis, who chose to rely on Francesco Calzona, the Slovakia coach, to redress the situation.

The latter will begin his mandate with a shock, Wednesday evening at home against Barça, in the round of 16 first leg of the Champions League.
