Harry Kane is frustrated. He doesn’t like Bayern’s game, which Thomas Tuchel confirmed.
Bayern Munich fell 5 points behind Bayer Leverkusen after the defeat (3-0) suffered by the Bavarians on the leader’s lawn last weekend. This state of affairs and the current climate around the team is not the most peaceful in recent years, while FCB hit hard on the transfer market by recruiting Harry Kane last summer. If the English striker displays exceptional statistics (24 goals in 21 Bundesliga days), he is not as fulfilled as he hoped.
Thomas Tuchel, his coach at Bayern, made no secret of the fact that there was frustration and discontent within Kane with the way his team was playing.
“Harry is not happy with the connection between players during matches. We’re not happy about that either. The way he scores in training, it’s world class. He is incredible. However, he is rarely found on the field during matches. So we’re working on that.”explained the former Paris Saint-Germain coach on the sidelines of the trip to Bochum on Sunday.
Used to doing everything and frustrated
At Tottenham, for years, Harry Kane was the hub of Spurs, even when he was a number 9. The former London captain always found a way to participate a lot in the game and be involved in most offensive situations . This is less the case in Munich, where he functions more as a finisher. Where will this frustration lead? For Tuchel, there is no need to worry, things will get better.
“Harry is acting like a captain. Everything is fine with him”, specified the German technician. We can still imagine that Kane stepped up to the plate with the technical staff and his teammates to ask them to play differently and serve him more.
