Real Madrid conceded a goal from Benjamin Sesko from the start against Leipzig on Tuesday in the round of 16 first leg of the Champions League, but the referees canceled the goal for a controversial offside.

The assistant referee raised his flag, but the Slovenian striker was covered by Rodrygo and, from the first slow motion broadcast, viewers expected the goal to be validated. No way.

The video referee canceled this Leipzig goal, to everyone’s surprise, considering that Benjamin Henrichs, who was in an offside position on Schlager’s shot, had hampered Andriy Lunin, the Ukrainian goalkeeper of the Casa blanched.
