He reacted to the jeers of the public during this meeting, the five-time Ballon d’Or seeming unable to escape his eternal rival Messi and the Argentine’s loyal legion of supporters.
Ronaldo also caused controversy during his time in the tunnel, rubbing an opposing team’s scarf thrown in his direction against his crotch before throwing it back towards the stands. The 39-year-old is a born winner and has never taken defeat well.
