André Ayew talks about his great regret about his adventure at OM

Back in Ligue 1 since the winter transfer window, André Ayew seems to be thriving within the Le Havre squad. The Ghana international seized the opportunity to return to his formative championship after leaving it in the summer of 2015.

During an interview given to Paris Normandy, the attacking midfielder looked back on his adventure at Olympique de Marseille and expressed some of his regrets. The 34-year-old would have wanted to spend his entire career with the Marseille club.

“I have always made my decisions with my heart. The only one that was difficult was leaving OM. Because it wasn’t wanted. The club had financial problems and many of us had to leave. I had a hard time accepting it. Because at OM, I could have done a Totti,” he admitted.

Under contract until the end of the season with the HAC

Arriving this winter in the HAC squad, André Ayew has already established himself as an essential pawn of the Le Havre team. The former playerOlympic Marseille behaves like a true locker room leader and also proves it on the pitch.

Upon his return from the CAN, the Ghanaian showed the way to his partners during the meeting against FC Lorient last weekend as part of the 19th day of League 1 where he found the net twice in 20 minutes of play.

This Sunday, against AS Monaco, although he starts the match on the bench, he could once again prove valuable for his team. Performances which could seduce his managers and push them to extend his contract.
