Asian Cup: The first known poster of the semi-finals

The first two quarter-finals of the Asian Cup were played this Friday in Qatar.

Jordan dismissed Tajikistan thanks to the unfortunate Khanonov, an own goal scorer in the second half (0-1, 66e).

South Korea for its part overthrew Australia, qualified after extra time with a score of 2-1. Goodwin opened the scoring for the Socceroos (42e) but Hwang snatched the equalizer in added time (90e+6); the essential Son having made the difference subsequently (104e).

Jordanians and South Koreans will meet in the first half of this Asian Cup, on February 6. The other two quarters pit Iran and Japan against each other on Saturday, then Qatar and Uzbekistan.
