The gala match between the clubs of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi turned into a correction. Al-Nassr crushed Inter Miami (6-0), even if CR7 did not play.
The poster was a dream. This Thursday, Al-Nassr and Inter Miami were opposed to Riyadh in a match which should have pitted Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, the two greatest players of their generation. But the Portuguese, injured, remained in the stands. And the Argentinian, expected to start, only played around ten minutes at the end of the match.
So this is a big flop for the organizers, but at least the spectators got their money’s worth, if they had come to see goals and not just stars. There were in fact six goals, all for Al-Nassr who crushed Inter Miami (6-0).
Ronaldo liked
From the 15th minute, it was 3-0 with goals from Otavio (3rd) and Talisca (10th), and an extraordinary free kick from Aymeric Laporte, who lobbed the Florida goalkeeper with a strike from 70 meters (12th). In the second half, Al-Nassr hit the nail on the head with a penalty from Talisca (51st), a goal from Mohamed Maran (68th) and the hat-trick goal for Talisca (73rd), who enjoyed it.
Present in the stands, Cristiano Ronaldo did not shy away from his pleasure. The Portuguese, who seeks at all costs to extol the merits of the Saudi championship, must have appreciated seeing his team crush a Major League Soccer team. And not just any one, that of his best enemy Lionel Messi…
