This is the end of a long series. Placarded by Paris Saint-Germain – he only played 9 minutes in the league this season – the striker trained at Stade de Reims has finally found a base. As indicated RMC Sporthe will join Eintracht Frankfurt, while we exclusively revealed to you a few minutes earlier that the player had already headed to the German city.

The agreement was reached this Thursday, and the three parties involved in this operation found common ground. This is a paying loan with a purchase option, the total amount of which could amount to 30 million euros. In the event that Frankfurt retains the young French striker, Paris Saint-Germain would recover almost all of its investment made in the summer of 2021 (loan with purchase option exercised in 2022, €35 million in total).

The Bundesliga, the logical choice?

Better yet, the club from the French capital will benefit from a percentage on resale, which could prove very interesting in the event that Ekitike manages to relaunch in Germany. A deal which was concluded practically at the last moment, since the winter transfer window ends at 6 p.m. in Germany this Thursday. He will therefore have his medical examination and sign his contract in the coming hours.

In a championship renowned for its attacking play and sometimes mocked for its defenses, Ekitike therefore has a great opportunity to get his career back on the right path after two rather complicated years with Paris Saint-Germain. Especially since he risks quickly becoming indispensable, since Frankfurt, sixth in the German championship, has some problems in attack and is the worst attack at the top of the Bundesliga table with 30 goals scored in 19 days. PSG will surely follow all of this very closely…
