While the winter transfer window is in its final hours, PSG has not given up on strengthening its defense.

Luis Campos’ phone should heat up in the next few hours. While the transfer market must close its doors this Thursday at 7 p.m., several files remain to be resolved for the sporting director of the French champions. Having left for Doha to attend the meeting of the European Club Association, the Portuguese was due to return to Paris this morning.

Most of the hot topics at the moment concern players who have become unwanted in the capital. This is particularly the case of Ugo Ekitike, about whom discussions have intensified with Eintracht Frankfurt but who is also being courted by two English clubs, including Brentford. Also pushed out, Layvin Kurzawa should stay until this summer unless there is a last minute offer.

PSG is tough in defense

But to believe The Team, an arrival cannot be ruled out either. After attracting Lucas Beraldo, whose level of play is questionable after his first month in the capital, and Gabriel Moscardo, who arrived injured and left on loan to Corinthians, the leaders of PSG would still like to strengthen their defensive sector.

And if the track leading to Leny Yoro has been put on hold until next summer, the French champions, who must deal with the long-term absences of Presnel Kimpembe and Milan Skriniar, and are still in doubt regarding Nuno Mendes , in the recovery phase, will monitor market opportunities until the last minute.
