While Olympique de Marseille is on all fronts at the end of the transfer window, Pablo Longoria has not been spared from criticism.

Often praised for his choices and his powerful network in terms of transfer window, Pablo Longoria is no longer unanimous. While Olympique de Marseille is experiencing a contrasting season on a sporting level, the Spanish leader’s strategy is being singled out by many observers. A trend illustrated by Daniel Riolo’s rant.

The RMC journalist castigated Longoria based on the Vitinha file. The most expensive recruit in the history of OM a year ago (32 million euros), the striker would be close to Genoa, in a deal which could be completed for compensation of around 20 million euros.

” It is not possible ! »

We shouldn’t even talk about this stuff because it’s not possiblelaunched Longoria on RMC. For Genoa to put 20 million euros on a player, it’s not possible, for us to put 20 million on this player, it’s not possible. So, that means that there is something underneath that we cannot control. People know how to talk to each other in Europe and know its current level and I haven’t heard of a non-mandatory option. The problem is this recruitment with these constant comings and goings which we don’t understand, it’s Vitinha and his 30 million“.

You won’t be able to get the 30 million out of your headcontinued Riolo. The biggest transfer in the history of OM is him, the poor guy, and it’s hard for him because he didn’t ask for anything. I don’t know who the scout was who spotted this player and thought he had the level to be worth 30 million. There are a lot of people who went to see him. We are forced to believe that there is something hidden and that there is something wrong in the drawer on this file because it is not possible, otherwise we are beyond incompetence“.
