Since his departure from Coritiba (Brazil) last November, Jesé has found himself without a club. The former PSG player would like to return to play in Europe.
Free from any contract since last summer, Jesé signed up for Coritiba FC. But less than three months after his arrival at the Brazilian club, the Spanish striker was released from his contract.
As he celebrates his 31st birthday next month, the former Paris Saint-Germain player would like to return to play in a European club. “Let no one doubt that I am and will continue to be a footballer. I’ve been training for four weeks now, Monday to Friday, sometimes Saturday, with double sessions, preparing and waiting. I had a few ideas, but I didn’t want to make any hasty decisions. I would like to get to a place where I am stable, where I can play often. If I had that continuity that every footballer looks for, I’m sure I would perform as well as elsewhere. I would like it to be in Spain, near my family”, declared the native of Las Palmas during an interview given to Marca.
Having passed through several clubs since leaving PSG, Jesé is convinced that his football career is not behind him. “What can I offer to a team? One hundred percent daily professionalism, experience in different teams and different countries, different playing systems with coaches with very different ideas. And above all, be a good teammate and win, continues the Spaniard. I’m a winner and what I love is winning. Whoever gives me a chance won’t regret it.”assures the striker trained at Real Madrid, who scored only one goal in six matches during his Brazilian freelance.
