A former PSG defender was targeted by racist comments from two of his teammates. The latter were fired.

Made aware of these despicable actions, RB Leipzig decided to part ways with the two players who uttered these insults towards the former Parisian. “Both men clearly made racist comments towards other players and therefore behaved in a completely unsporting and unacceptable manner”the Saxony club informed the German media.

RB Leipzig opposes with conviction and determination racist, anti-constitutional and xenophobic efforts and other discriminatory or inhumane behavior and feels committed to the principle of fair play, to the fight against racism and xenophobia and to supporting the integration of young foreigners, particularly in sport and society.
