In the sights of PSG after six months of very high level at OL, Bradley Barcola also shone with the French team hopefuls at the Euro.

It is undoubtedly the revelation of the second half of the season in Ligue 1. Holder after the winter break in the eyes of Laurent Blanc, Bradley Barcola shone with five goals and nine assists in the league. His profile as a fast and ultra-collective winger quickly won unanimous support at Olympique Lyonnais… and in the French U23 team, where he was an indisputable holder of Sylvain Ripoll during the Euros. The good performances of Bradley Barcola have not escaped the big European clubs either as the transfer window approaches.

And as proof, Paris Saint-Germain has already expressed its interest in recruiting the native of Lyon (20 years old). According to the information provided by Arnaud Hermant on the set of La Chaîne L’Equipe, we must however be wary of this rumor. Because for the journalist, the contacts between the PSG and the Barcola camp date back to several months, when the Rhone striker was still represented by his former agents. Since then, the OL striker has moved to the stable of Jorge Mendes, certainly very close to Luis Campos, but with whom there was no question of a transfer from Bradley Barcola to Paris Saint-Germain according to the journalist.

Barcola at PSG, a more topical interest?

“Barcola at PSG? I don’t know what to tell you… probably, you have to put Cherki with him to make a Lyon offensive line. He has just changed agent, he went to Jorge Mendes. We know the Mendes, Campos, PSG lineage, we do business with friends. Barcola at PSG, I don’t really believe in it, but there may have been discussions some time ago with his former advisers. But, recent talks for Barcola in Paris, I don’t really believe in it” estimated the journalist of the sports daily in L’Equipe du Soir. For OL supporters, the hope of keeping the 20-year-old right winger remains as Barcola’s contract with Lyon runs until June 2026.
