FC Barcelona is going through a complicated patch. Quickly eliminated in the Copa del Rey against Bilbao, the culé club is also third in Liga after an eventful first part of the season to say the least. Obviously, even if the winter transfer window is calm in Catalonia, this summer promises to be hectic. In this sense, the residents of Camp Nou have already targeted several players capable of strengthening the Barcelona ranks. Thus, the Barça board sent scouts to Ivory Coast during CAN 2023 to unearth the new nugget.

And according to the latest information from Mundo Deportivo, six promising young players were tracked by the Catalan management. In this list was Ernest Nuamah. The 20-year-old OL winger, loaned by Molenbeek after a daring deal by John Textor with Nordsjaelland, did not shine with Ghana at the CAN but his style is appreciated by the Catalan leaders. The latter also had an eye on Ousmane Diomandé, Raphael Onyedika, Pape Matar Sarr, Yankuba Minteh and Dango Ouattara during the continental competition according to the indiscretions of the Catalan media.
