Naples formalizes the loan of Leander Dendoncker

It’s official ! Under contract with Aston Villa until June 2026, Leander Dendoncker (28 years old) joins Napoli in the form of a loan with an option to buy. “SSC Napoli announces that it has acquired, from Aston Villa Football Club, the sports services of Leander Dendoncker with the loan formula with right to purchase”specifies in this sense the press release from the Italian team.

Since the start of the season, the Belgian defensive midfielder has appeared 15 times in the Villans jersey. Author of a small goal during his 389 minutes of play spent on English pitches, the native of Passendale hopes to find more playing time in Serie A. To be continued…
