If Kylian Mbappé refused last summer to join their championship, the Saudis have not given up on attracting the Parisian striker.
Now five months from the end of his contract at PSG, the future of Kylian Mbappé is taking shape. For many, the former Monegasque is indeed this time determined to leave the capital club to join Real Madrid. Even if it means having to make a significant financial sacrifice since the Merengue club would not intend to offer him more than 35 million euros in annual salary when the French champions are ready to offer him no less than 100 million euros per year.
But Real Madrid is not the only club wanting to attract the Bondynois. It is indeed the same for Liverpool, who have long been interested in the French world champion. Another contender could also be on the attack: Saudi Arabia. Already last summer, the Al-Hilal club attempted an offensive by offering him a salary of 200 million euros for a two-year contract. And according to Prince Abdullah Saad Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Saudi championship has not given up on attracting the Frenchman.
“Of course we love it. Kylian Kylian Mbappé is a good player, he is strong and I hope to see him play in Saudi Arabia, in any team in our championship,” this member of the Saudi royal family confided to the media Carré, adding: “Saudi Arabia is now the market monster. We have Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema… We have a strong championship and we will surprise again. More stars will come. Saudi Arabia plans to become the number 1 nation in football. Soon.”
Last month, it was Michael Emenalo, the director of the Saudi Pro League, who showed his desire to recruit the PSG player. “If there is a possibility or interest for Mbappé to be part of what we are building, today or in the future, we cannot reject this possibility. He’s a player that I like”he confided.
