Paris Saint-Germain continues to be active in the winter transfer window to strengthen itself in several sectors.

If the recruitment of an additional central defender has been made an absolute priority by the sporting management and technical staff of Paris Saint-Germain, the capital club is also looking to strengthen its position in midfield. A sector considered too limited in this first part of the season.

With this in mind, several names have been mentioned since January 1, the opening date of this winter transfer window. The most attractive? Joshua Kimmich, emblematic midfielder of Bayern Munich, or Bruno Guimaraes, Newcastle hub who played for Olympique Lyonnais in Ligue 1.

PSG: this track is getting colder

But other profiles were listed for this winter transfer window in Paris, such as that of English international Kalvin Philips. Lacking playing time at Manchester City, the Briton should not commit to Paris. According to information from Fabrizio Romano, Kalvin Philips would have opted for West Ham. City and the London club have already started negotiations for the transfer of the Englishman.
