Senegal faces Guinea this Tuesday, for the 3rd day of the CAN group stage. Here is the expected lineup for the title holder.

With two victories in as many outings, Senegal is the only big name to respect its roadmap since the start of this African Cup of Nations. The defending champion won against Gambia for his entry into the competition (3-0), before signing another resounding success against Cameroon a few days later (3-1).

The Lions of Teranga therefore have the opportunity to achieve a flawless performance in this group phase. To do this, they will have to tame a new opponent within their reach, Guinea, this Tuesday in the early evening (kick-off at 6 p.m.). A match that looks like a final for first place against the second in the group.

Rotation expected for Senegal

Unsurprisingly, Aliou Cissé should make a significant rotation for this last meeting. The Senegal coach intends to take care of the organizations for the rest of the tournament. A luxury that Senegal can afford thanks to its perfect start to the competition from an accounting standpoint.

Thus, Ismaïla Sarr, in great form since the curtain rose, could leave his place to his teammate at Olympique de Marseille Iliman Ndiaye. Another well-known face in Ligue 1, Habib Diallo, who has also been decisive since the start of the tournament, should be left to rest. Nicolas Jackson is expected to start in attack.

The expected composition for Senegal: E. Mendy – Koulibaly, Kouyaté, Seck – Diatta, N. Mendy, I. Gueye, Jakobs – Ndiaye, Jackson, Mané.
