Last summer, Cole Palmer (21) left Manchester City after a flamboyant summer where he won the European U21 Championship with England and completed the quadruple with the Skyblues. The attacking midfielder signed with Chelsea for a check for 42.5 million pounds and is signing great copies with the Blues. However, a departure was not his intention when discussing his future.

Indeed, during an interview given to Daily MailCole Palmer indicated that he favored a loan over a transfer. “I said I would go on loan and play for a year, because I didn’t play many minutes (last season). But then Pep said ‘you either stay or get sold’.”. A crazy situation which ultimately succeeded for the English international (two selections). “I was a bit confused as to why they wouldn’t let me go on loan, so I said I wanted to go to Chelsea and I’m happy it worked out like that.”
