New twist in the Moscardo case. As a reminder, Paris Saint-Germain quickly reached an agreement with Corinthians for the transfer of the young 18-year-old defensive midfielder, Gabriel Moscardo. An operation costing €20 million, bonus included. However, the Brazilian blew a huge wind in this matter on December 31 by announcing that he was going to have surgery on his left foot and that he will be unavailable for three months.

A new series worthy of a novel as the capital club knows how to offer us. But this time, the Rouge et Bleu do not intend to become the turkey of the joke, especially since there was suspicion of a tumor on the foot. As promising as he is, Moscardo therefore saw Paris put his arrival in France on standby. On January 8, we provided you with the information of Goal Brazil indicating that the French champions were logically awaiting the next results of the player’s medical examinations to make a decision, therefore not excluding the possibility of abandoning this recruitment.

PSG resists

A situation that does not please the Corinthians at all. Already annoyed by the fact of having sold Moscardo at a price that it considers low (it was the old management which managed the sale, editor’s note), the new management of the Paulista club wants to speed things up. According to UOL, the Brazilian team simply imposed an ultimatum on PSG. Concretely, she wants the Ile-de-France residents to complete the transfer before the foot operation that the player must undergo. Except that PSG does not share this opinion. The Rouge et Bleu are ready to validate the operation, but on one condition.

Paris is asking that a clause allowing the deal to be broken be included, to protect itself in case the Moscardo problem is not resolved. Enough to annoy the Corinthians who claim that the injury to their young midfielder is not serious. The Brazilians also want everything to be resolved by the end of the week. Enough to further strain the situation, especially since Moscardo’s club no longer excludes the idea of keeping its player if Paris is reluctant to finalize the deal. This is called a nice pressure move. It remains to be seen whether this will be enough to destabilize the Parisians.
