Courted by Bayern Munich, Nordi Mukiele would be inclined to join the German champions. The ball is in PSG’s court.

His departure was not planned, but Nordi Mukiele could well leave Paris Saint-Germain this winter. As revealed on Sunday by L’Equipe, the French defender has been courted by Bayern Munich for several days. And according to Fabrizio Romano, he would be willing to join the German champions.

Mukiele, who took off his career by leaving Montpellier for Leipzig, would be interested in the idea of returning to the Bundesliga, and not at just any club. Thomas Tuchel would like him to join Bayern to play right back.

The ball is therefore in the court of PSG, which must accept or not the departure of the player. It would probably be a loan with a purchase option, with the mentioned sum of 25 million euros.

PSG will have to find a replacement for him

Fabrizio Romano specifies that PSG will have to find a replacement for Mukiele before letting him go to Bayern. Even if he is not a starter, the former Montpellier, thanks to his versatility (he can play in all positions of the defense, in a pattern with three or four defenders), is an important player in Luis’s rotation Enrique.

While the Parisian squad is decimated by injuries (Kimpembe, Skriniar, Nuno Mendes, etc.) and the absences of African and Asian internationals, PSG started at Revel with a very experimental defense, where Mukiele played on the left, alongside Carlos Soler, Lucas Beraldo and Danilo Pereira. PSG can hardly lose a new defender at this time of the season, without replacing him.
