Brazilian football legend Mario Zagallo died this week at the age of 92. His record with the Seleçao is extraordinary.
One year after Pelé, a legend of Brazilian football passed away. Mario Zagallo died this week at the age of 92, his relatives announced in a press release. “It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of our eternal four-time world champion Mário Jorge Lobo Zagallo,” indicates the message posted on social networks.
Mario Zagallo has indeed one of the greatest records in the history of football. The one that Pelé considered ” like a brother “ won the World Cup twice, in 1958 (with a goal in the final) then in 1962. Then in 1970 he became the first man to lift the trophy as a coach, after having won it as a player . Franz Beckenbauer and Didier Deschamps later joined him in this very closed circle.
OBRIGADO, ZAGALLO! 🖤
It is so heavy and deep that we receive notice of the falsehood of Mario Jorge Lobo Zagallo, or ours Zagallo.
