Lens downsizes its workforce
According to information from Foot Mercato, the Artesian club would have opened the door to its understudy during this January window. An operation which could have allowed RC Lens to recover a significant transfer fee, since Farinez sees his contract expire next June. But according to the French media, the two parties could find an amicable agreement for a termination of contract.
Farinez joined Lens in the summer of 2020 from Colombian club Millonarios FC, in the middle of the Covid-19 period, after the club’s rise to the elite. He only made 20 appearances with the Sang et Or.
