Exited with an injury in the 10th minute of play last night during his club’s victory against Las Palmas (1-2), the Portuguese full-back caused a wave of panic by holding his knee as he left the pitch. After a battery of tests carried out this Friday morning, the Catalan club announced that its player suffered from ligament distension (a sprain), but that no ligament rupture was reported.
