If we had to name the summer recruits who marked the first part of the season for Paris Saint-Germain, Ousmane Dembélé, Lucas Hernandez and Manuel Ugarte – to name just a few – come directly to mind. Certainly not Cher Ndour. However, the capital club saw in him a young midfielder, trained at Atalanta before joining Benfica, capable of expanding the Parisian midfield and interfering in the rotation of this sector. However, his coach, Luis Enrique, did not really trust him during his first half-season in Paris, even if he is aware of the qualities he can bring: “he would be a starter anywhere in L1. But here, there is competition and it’s difficult to give him minutes”he explained at a press conference a month ago.

And he only had 25 minutes in the end on the green rectangle, and only in Ligue 1 with three appearances against Lyon (4), Strasbourg (8) and Reims (13). A situation which does not really help the 19-year-old player in his progress, and which could lead him to consider a temporary departure this winter. Indeed, according to the latest information from Parisian, the Italian international Espoir (5 selections) could be the subject of a loan during this winter transfer window, with two teams already interested in welcoming him for six months: SC Braga and Besiktas, with whom the Parisian management would have good relations to facilitate the operation. The daily also adds that “all possibilities are open including that he ends the season in a club other than PSG.” To be continued.
