His personal situation, “no one talks about it”
Mbappé is therefore not really concerned about his situation at the moment and he assures that it is the same for his club. “But like I said, the most important thing is to win trophies. The team and the group are looking towards that. My situation, no one talks about it within the club. I just want to help win trophies, like I did today.”
And when we asked him if he was going to make us wait until May to decide, his response was the following: ” I do not know. In 2022, I waited because I didn’t know until May. If I know what I’m going to do, I’m not going to hang around. That does not make any sense. »

He accepted his position on the ground
During the long exchange, Mbappé also had to comment on his position on the pitch. For some time now, he has been playing more up front than on the left side. Is it a problem ? Apparently not. “When I speak with him (Luis Enrique), he tells me that a good player can play in several positions. I think I’m a good player (laughs). Today, I play in the center. Finally, before leaving, Mbappé affirmed that he did not feel more esteemed in Paris this season than he had in the past: “I’ve always been important. It is a continuation of the evolution that I have had since my arrival in Paris.” It remains to be seen how far this continuity will stretch.
