The young Brazilian Messinho was of great interest to Paris SG but the demands of Palmeiras put off the Ile-de-France club.

PSG leaves the way clear for Chelsea
Palmeiras are demanding at least €45 million for the sale of Estevão Willian, known as Messinho, according to GOAL Brazil. For the management of PSG, it is too expensive for an element of only 16 years old.
The English club Chelsea remains in the running for this strategist and has already started negotiations with the São Paulo club. However, the Blues are also reluctant to pay Alviverde’s asking price. They are offering a sum of 40 million euros, including 20 million euros fixed and 20 million euros variable.
Palmeiras does not waive receiving the full amount of the termination fine, especially since it owns 70% of the economic rights of the young player. The rest is up to the player himself. The latter has not yet expressed his intentions. He may very well stay in his country to continue his progress.
