Borussia Dortmund are ready to complete a sensational deal to land the Manchester United winger, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Sancho has been on the outs at Man Utd since the start of September, when he spectacularly fell out with manager Erik ten Hag. After refusing to apologize for a social media post in which he claimed he had been made a “scapegoat”, the England winger has not played a single minute of football and has not even trained with the first team.

The 23-year-old appeared to have few options heading into the January window due to his high wages, but it appears he will return to Dortmund on loan in the coming days. Sky Germany reported on Tuesday that BVB were working on a six-month deal for the Man Utd star, with a loan fee of €3.5 million. As a reminder, Dortmund sold him to the Red Devils in 2021 for 85 million euros.

Sancho “push for transfer”reports Fabrizio Romano, who affirms that a “ agreement is more than concrete at this stage”. The former Manchester City youth player played 137 times for Dortmund during his previous stint in the Bundesliga, scoring 50 goals.
