Manchester City could sell England international Kalvin Phillips this winter, under very specific conditions.
Kalvin Phillips’ future could well be written far from Manchester City. Arriving last summer for 49 million euros, the England international has only played 10 matches in all competitions, including only 4 in the Premier League.
According to the newspaper The Independent, the Citizen club is ready to let the former Leeds member slip away in the form of a six-month loan. The club are reportedly willing to accept an offer of €6 million for the loan, but would like to include a purchase obligation set at €46 million.
A total transaction of 52 million euros which would be greater than the sum paid by the Skyblues to bring Kalvin Phillips to the banks of Irwell. An effort that the reigning European and English champion would be ready to make to get rid of a player who does not correspond to the project of coach Pep Guardiola.
Several clubs are interested in the 28-year-old midfielder including Manchester United, Newcastle United, Juventus Turin, in addition to Paris Saint-Germain.
