Jude Bellingham has decided to part ways with a well-known chef in Madrid.
During his last years at Real Madrid, Karim Benzema had Alberto Mastromatteo as his personal chef. The Frenchman got on well with the Majorcan, with the club believing his excellent performances were partly down to the nutritional meals prepared by Mastromatteo.
Mastromatteo was appointed by Real Madrid as Jude Bellingham’s personal chef, believing the midfielder, who joined from Borussia Dortmund last summer, would be capable of producing a similar level of performance.
That’s definitely been the case thus far, with Bellingham having been exceptional this season. However, this is not particularly thanks to Mastromatteo, with Relevo reporting that the 20-year-old did not enjoy the meals prepared for him. After discussing it with his mother, Bellingham therefore made the decision to part ways with Mastromatteo as head chef.
It’s the only blemish on Bellingham’s incredible start to his career at Real Madrid, but if he continues the momentum through to the end of the season and beyond, the club’s management will not be will not be overly concerned about it.
