The English club Chelsea is on the verge of validating the arrival of a great hope of Senegalese football.

Chelsea are close to completing a deal for Senegalese youngster Pape Daouda Diong. The latter is considered a great emerging talent in his country.

Chelsea goes to the source!

The attacking midfielder will join the club in the summer of 2025, when he turns 18. Diong is currently linked to AF Darou Salam in Senegal.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the transfer: “Chelsea have completed the signing of Senegal Under-17 midfielder Pape Daouda Diong, as we announced two weeks ago. Born in 2006, Pape will turn 18 this summer and will be part of the Chelsea project. Diong was at Stamford Bridge two weeks ago.”

If he commits to the Blues, Diong will be able to count on his compatriot Nicolas Jackson to possibly facilitate his adaptation.
