During an interview, Luis Enrique highlighted the presence of Paris Saint-Germain supporters even in defeat.

Arriving this summer at Paris Saint-Germain, Luis Enrique was able to discover the Parisian and French supporters, he who had only known Spain and Italy until then. Appreciated by his new supporters, the Spanish technician also seems to like their attitude, especially when his team is in trouble.

Supporters always present

In an interview given to PSG TV on the occasion of the resumption of training, Enrique praised the ability of Parisian supporters to always support their players even in defeat. “All the fans say they are the best in the world. Then when they lose, they all whistle. Here in Paris, no. We lost away, and I heard more Parisian fans applauding than local fans. So it’s a very positive, very pleasant discovery, which we hope to nourish and encourage so that they continue to appreciate their team’s victories, their team’s play, and so that we can win important titles.”he explained.

Carried by his positive vibes, Enrique hopes to have a great first season with the Ile-de-France club, with the first objective of winning Ligue 1. “Our objective is to win, but also to have a playing identity, we must win by growing the team and the club. This is something very important for me and for the supporters. The more the months pass, the more the supporters will get used to my decisions! We are the best team in the championship. We have to win Ligue 1, it’s an obligatory objective and I know it”added the Parisian coach.
