Carlo Ancelotti has linked his future to that of Real Madrid. His contract extension has just been approved.
The romance between Carlo Ancelotti and Real Madrid is not about to end. While he was announced at the head of the Brazilian selection, the Italian coach has just signed a long-term contract with the club in the Spanish capital.
Ancelotti at Real until 2028!
According to the Iberian media Relevo, “Carletto” will continue with the Merengue until 2028. He will thus be able to spend seven years with the Castilian team. Seven years which would be added to the two seasons he had already completed during his first stint between 2013 and 2015.

Florentino Pérez chooses stability. And this is understandable given the record displayed by the former Milan coach. During his long stay at the Bernabeu, Ancelotti notably helped Real win two Champions Leagues. He also won La Liga in 2022, which made him the first coach to have been crowned in each of the five major championships.
This season, Real is also on track to win one or more titles. The team is leader of La Liga at the halfway point (tied with Girona). And she also qualified with flying colors for the round of 16 of the Champions League (6 wins in 6 matches).
If the news of Ancelotti’s extension is rejoicing for the merengue socios, it is certainly much less so for fans of the Brazilian national team. Many of them were impatient to see this great coach arrive at the head of their Seleçao. Ultimately, the rumors arguing in this direction were just baseless noise.
