In search of an element of experience, Juventus Turin is seeking to secure the services of a captain from Real Madrid.
Juventus are reportedly eyeing seasoned Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos. This is reported by RAI’s Paolo Paganini, indicating that a Bianconeri raid for the German could occur as early as January.
After Ronaldo, Juve ready to recruit another Real veteran
Kroos’ contract with Real expires in June. The Spanish club could therefore be in favor of the idea of letting him go in order to recover a sum on his sale. Something which will not be possible if he ever leaves free at the end of the current financial year.
Paganini told Bianconerinews.it: “Kroos will evaluate other offers, including that of Juventus, after the investigation carried out a few weeks ago and which was confirmed to me in Monte Carlo.”
“The midfielder is at a crossroads: end his career at Real Madrid or look elsewhere. In Spain, we are talking again about Kroos, whose contract expires in 2024, and who will soon have to decide on his future. Juventus could try to recruit him,” continued the Italian journalist.
If he joins the Old Lady, Kroos will follow in the footsteps of other great German midfielders who have worn the colors of this prestigious club such as Andreas Moller or Sami Khedira.
As a reminder, in 2018, Juve had already snatched from Real one of its old veterans – and not the least – in the person of Cristiano Ronaldo.
